This hands-on course explores artistic expression through music, dance, literary and visual art. Through listening and evaluation, examining films, videos and performances, discussion, experimentation and collaboration, students will integrate art forms to create pieces and performances. Berklee, Mass Art, Boston Conservatory and Emerson College students and faculty will collaborate as a way to understand how synthesis of the arts can be realized and consider how the arts speak in our society. Students will improvise and experiment with movement, visual elements, space and place, poetry and prose, non-traditional instruments and performance art. This course is open to improvisers, composers, song writers, poets, visual artists, dancers and choreographers
